For a long time I’d had an interest in plants and their healing properties. I’d spend my time making salves and foraging for medicinal herbs in the wild. Alongside this I was becoming more and more aware of the man-made chemicals I had been putting on my skin and the plastic waste it created. I thought I’d begin to play around with making my own. When I started making a natural deodorant I was so happy to find that it actually worked so much better than anything I had used before. I could make a deodorant which was kind to my skin, which didn’t have any potentially harmful ingredients and no plastic! I started to share it with friends and the feedback was so great I decided to get it certified and sell at local markets, I built a website and began to sell online. Word spread and small businesses regularly got in touch to stock our products fuelled by demand from their customers. Our products are now stocked in hundreds of independent shops in the UK and across Europe.
